Yeovil 2nd xv 0pts Chard 29pts
Despite a number of last minute changes Chard 2nd xv ( the Wing Commanders) kept up their winning run with a bonus point win at Yeovil and as a result stay several points clear at the top of the division. Chard scored five tries in the match with three coming in the first half from Scott Johnson and Billy Vernon 2. Dylan Moss added one conversion to give Chard a 17pt advantage at half time.
Yeovil had a very useful set of forwards but Chard overall always had an edge in the game and increased their lead in the second period with a third try for Vernon and another from Warren Lewis with Moss adding one more conversion.
Chard 2nd xv are at home next Saturday against local rivals Somerton who are also having a very good season and are to date the only team to have beaten them . Chard will be hoping for some good vocal support to help them win this time. Kick off 2 30pm
